eyeP Media Announces eCom interoperability with BroadSoft BroadWorks VoIP application platform

LAUSANNE (Switzerland) , August 26th, 2009 – eyeP Media SA, a leading provider of SIP-based Telecommunications over IP client software for fixed and mobile applications, today announced eCom interoperability with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks® VoIP application platform. 

eyeP Media’s eCom product (also named eyeP Communicator) provides a contacts centric application for making audio & video phone calls, sending instant messages, displaying buddy presence information, and sending & receiving SMS—as well as providing a complete Microsoft Outlook integration. BroadSoft’s IMS-compliant BroadWorks platform provides a comprehensive range of VoIP applications, including Hosted Unified Communications, Mobile PBX, Business Trunking and residential broadband services fully integrated into a single VoIP application platform. 

When deployed with BroadWorks, eCom seamlessly provides advanced IP communications services to the end-user, including a number of IP Centrex features. eyeP Media’s softphone also exposes a Contact Directory synchronized with Outlook and a Call History functionality. eCom is available in desktop or USB dongle versions and includes its innovative Audio Quality Engine.

eyeP Media to release a RCS enabled version of its PC Communicator software.

LAUSANNE (Switzerland), August 3rd, 2009 – eyeP Media SA, a leading provider of SIP based Telecommunications over IP (ToIP) client software announced the new release of its eyeP Communicator softphone for Windows.

This new version includes a full range of new features addressing both residential and corporate segments. Among other key features, eyeP Communicator implements Rich Communication Suite (RCS) functionalities with a superior user experience.

eyeP Media, a member of the GSMA Rich Communications Suite (RCS) program, which includes leading mobile operators, network equipment vendors, handset makers and application providers, has been selected by major mobile operators to provide its RCS enabled softphone for RCS trials.

Moving eyeP Communicator to RCS-compliance was a natural and easy evolution for our client technology since its design has always been contact-centric and based on the SIP technology. eyeP Media announces RCS project membership

LAUSANNE (Switzerland), May 14th, 2009 – eyeP Media SA, a leading provider of SIP- based ToIP client software for fixed and mobile applications, announced today that it is now a member of the GSMA’s RCS (Rich Communication Suite) project .  The desktop version of its flagship software product eyeP Communicator will be available for first RCS trials by early June 2009. 

Moving eyeP Communicator to RCS-compliance was a natural and easy evolution for our client technology since its design has always been contact-centric. We have implemented in our client software some components which are mandatory for RCS, like an MSRP stack to enable services such as file transfer or content sharing. Joining now the RCS project will allow us to get in closer contact with the RCS community, to participate in the working groups, and hopefully to bring our long term expertise to bear in one of the essential parts of RCS future success: the client side.” said Alain Sturzenegger, CEO of eyeP Media .
